Today, I'm going to show you 10 looks motivated by British Vogue's spring-summer 2022 fashion patterns. We'll initially take a look at the runway looks, and after that I'm going to recreate the pattern myself, using pieces that I already own. Let's jump on in! The first pattern is everything about the mini-skirt.
This appearance is influenced by the Miu Miu runway, where they matched a really brief mini-skirt with a belt and an oversized cotton shirt. I took some components of the Miu Miu look and paired a puff-sleeve cotton t-shirt with a tan mini-skirt. I love the blue and tan mix and how the belt completely matches the skirt.
For more style pointers for petite women, see my previous tutorial on how to dress to look high. On my feet, I have a pair of pointed-toe heels to pull the appearance together. The next pattern is bike diaries, and it is all about leather - whether that is a womanly or manly take on it.
I went for a pair of semi-flared denims. I like the juxtaposition of something a bit formal and edgy, like my leather coat, with something extremely casual, like my denims. The color of the jacket is so rich and beautiful; it simply produces a really classy but edgy take a look at the same time.
My appearance, influenced by Missoni, quite channels that beachy, blue-and-white vibe. Instead of acquiring something new that I understand I will most likely never wear after this season, I chose my beach cover-up. If you have a long beach cover-up and some sort of tank top, you can very easily put this appearance together.
The next pattern is everything about brilliant, lively, sometimes even neon, colors to experiment with color blocking. There are many color mixes that are popping up on the fashion scene. This catwalk appearance here is red, pink, and orange. I occurred to have this lovely color-blocked gown in comparable tones.
I also like the dress's puff sleeves; they release an effective, boss-lady edge. The next trend is everything about stripes, particularly non-traditional takes on stripes. I enjoy the disorderly energy and boldness of combining stripes with different things. My clothing is inspired by the Paul Smith look here. Although I don't have a pajama-like striped two-piece set, I did choose a striped gown.
I enjoy the unforeseen pairing that these two pieces produce. This next trend is classic. It's everything about white on white on white. You can have fun with various tones and tones of white. My clothing is influenced by this Cecilie Bahnsen look and I simply like the whimsical quirkiness and girliness of this appearance.
This is such an excellent method to style a corset without being too over the top. I have on a set of actually flowy linen trousers on the bottom. On my feet are black shoes, and I like how they tie in with my hair color. This next pattern is all about shiny things.
I love that on top of a pretty basic sequined jumpsuit, you have this actually long, silky, nearly scarf-like device tied throughout it. That isn't very wearable, so I used a smooth scarf around my neck as the icing on the cake of the outfit. The next trend is also a bit hard to design.
To make this more wearable, I took an innovative method inspired by this catwalk appearance. I enjoy the net detail and the ball-looking embellishment that produces a polka-dot impact. Without revealing every inch of my skin, I combined a set of polka-dot pants with a sheer dotted top, and below I have a easy black bandeau.
The next trend is all about early 2000s fashion. This catwalk look motivated me to wear my headscarf as a top and pair it with some low-rise pants. Using a headscarf as a top is not a new technique in fashion, but I had actually never ever attempted it before, and I actually like the method it looks.
I enjoy the have fun with various silhouettes as well as the juxtaposition of feminine and manly. This designer look offered me a brand new attire concept. I would never ever have believed to combine my yellow sweatshirt with my flower patterned skirt, in addition to my yellow satiny shoes and my pink blazer on top of it.
I enjoy how feminine and effective this outfit makes me feel. Now you are all filled out with the spring-summer patterns for 2022; similar to I recreated runway looks with my own pieces, why not attempt doing the exact same? Let me know your preferred pattern in the remarks below.
